Andrew Leon Hanna

Andrew Leon Hanna is the co-founder and CEO of Mona, an AI platform that helps small businesses access capital and financial coaching across the U.S. Mona has been named to Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas List.

Hanna was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, served in the White House and U.S. Department of Justice, and was on the founding team of Sora Finance (acquired by MassMutual/Flourish). He is the author of a Financial Times Best Book of the Year, “25 Million Sparks: The Untold Story of Refugee Entrepreneurs” (Cambridge University Press), and co-creator of “DreamxAmerica,” an Emmy-nominated documentary on PBS. Hanna is also an adjunct professor and executive-in-residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Hanna earned his MBA with honors at Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, Siebel Scholar, and Arjay Miller Scholar; his J.D. with honors at Harvard Law School as a Harvard Law Review editor; and his A.B. with highest distinction from Duke University as a Robertson Scholar.
