Hon. Cristina A. Roque

Ma. Cristina A. Roque is the current Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry and the Trade Minister of the Philippines. Her leadership focuses on three strategic priorities: International trade and foreign investment, consumer protection and fair trade, and the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management Engineering with a minor in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University. With a 30-year entrepreneurial career, she champions initiatives to create an inclusive and competitive environment for all businesses in the country.
